We were attending an event at Hotchkiss School in nearby Lakeville Connecticut. It was very conveniently located. It is an older property but nicely maintained. The self-serve breakfast was quite adequate. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was was well furnished with products. Overall a pleasant place for a short stay.

The «complimentary» wi-fi did not connect in room #6 (zero connection). Thankfully, we were allowed to change to room #3 with WiFi but also very loud music was heard from someone above all night! When I mentioned loud contionus music heard all night, the response from reception was «interesting» ? Luckily we weee checking out. This inn is in a decent location just beware if you need WiFi and/or are a lite sleeper!

In town for a wedding, but had such a wonderful stay here & in town that we’re already planning a return to this hidden gem! Wonderful hosts, Fabulous restaurant (!!!), lovely very comfy room (#2) where they paid attention to all the details- quilt, boutique toiletries, double suitcase stands,…- wish the breakfast had a protein or yogurt, but this doesn’t detract from the over all 5 stars- right in the heart of a quaint town across from movie theatre, another restaurant, coffee shop, bookstore, fab tea shop, 2 antique stores, diner- and 15 mins from train stop! And gorgeous countryside nearby. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband and I were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room, the thick and thirsty bath towels and the quiet environment. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the entire property was beautiful and well maintained. The only weak area that could use improvement was the breakfast offerings. We were on the top floor, with only stair access. It would not be suitable for someone who would require an elevator. We enjoyed our stay in Millerton!

Antonia was wonderful and made our stay special. She was kind and warm and when we were initially unhappy with our room immediately rectified the situation and in the end our stay was perfect! It’s a charming hotel, clean and centrally located, walking distance to all the local shops in town.

Beautiful property, only stayed one night for business but it was very nice. Great burger at the restaurant downstairs! Possibly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had!

The hotel is beautiful, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed the night of our stay and we were disappointed because we planned on eating there. I guess I should have checked the restaurant hours before booking. Most of the town had businesses that were closed in the middle of the week, so just be aware when you book. The person working the desk recommended a restaurant outside of town and it was good. There was no one at the front desk when we checked out early in the morning. The sign in the room and at the front desk instructed us to leave our keys in the lockbox by the front desk, but we could not find one and so we left the keys behind the desk. The bath in room #11 was awkward in that the shower only had a handheld shower head with no place to attach it for taking a shower so it needed to be held the whole time. I imagine that was because the tub had a slanted ceiling that was sheetrock. The hotel was nice and the location was very convenient to the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, so I would recommend it.

Booked a king room and was given a room with two doubles. Also, the heat was like a sauna, someone came up to help and it went right back to the way it was. Couldn’t get help during the stay at night! Wanted my parents to have a wonderful experience their 1st stay up where we live and it was anything but.

The room 5 is cozy but wished there were chairs and a table by the windows to soak in the sun while eating breakfast. The tub is slightly too high for me to get into and out of it but that’s fine. Breakfast is very basic: coffee, teas, packaged waffles and other baked goods. Mostly sweet items. However, I wished the breakfast area was open 24/7 so we can use the hot water or make a coffee in the evenings. There was a fridge inside room but no way to make a coffee/tea. Overall, nice stay. I would recommend to family friends since location is right at Millerton. Harney & Sons tea shop is one block away and the OakHurst Diner. Both establishments were delicious.

We recently stayed at The Millerton Inn and overall had a really lovely experience. The room itself was incredible, beautifully designed, comfortable, and exactly the relaxing getaway we were hoping for. The ambience throughout the inn is stunning, and the dining area especially felt warm, cozy, and inviting. We would absolutely love to come back. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because the breakfast was very misleading compared to how it’s advertised online. The description mentions locally sourced, freshly baked pastries and goods, fresh fruit, and fresh coffee. We were not expecting a full hot breakfast, as that is not what’s advertised, but we were definitely expecting something fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Unfortunately, when we went downstairs in the morning, we were disappointed to find prepackaged loaves of bread that appeared old, a few apples, and a Keurig instead of fresh brewed coffee. After such a wonderful night’s stay and walking into such a beautiful, relaxing breakfast space, it felt very underwhelming and did not match the experience or expectations set by the hotel’s description. That said, the stay itself was truly wonderful, and with a more accurate breakfast description or an improved offering, this easily would have been a five-star experience.

Prachtig huis, we kregen een mooie kamer fijne badkamer.inchecken liep wat stroef door ziek personeel, en toelaat ingrijpen van de manager. We hebben er in de avond ook gegeten dat viel een beetje tegen, had er iets meer van verwacht. Muziek mag wel veranderen, veel rock muziek. Ontbijt heel bijzonder, er was niemand, en geen instructies hoe koffiemachine werkt en alleen een bagel met jamcupje, en plastic bestek en borden. Leuk adres maar het zou iets bijzonders kunnen zijn met wat meer aandacht, schoonmaak ook van tafels en planten in bv ontbijtzaal, kledinghangers in de kamer, verlichting muziek en inrichting eetzaal en personeel goede instructies geven. Succes👍
