Lovely, well kept hotel within quick walking distance (3 or 4 minutes) to the center of town. Friendly staff and breakfast provided inside or on the top floor terrace.
Great service staff, and good rooms as advertised. Absolutely love the area and town. Like many Mexican hotel and homes, they don’t seem to use “P-traps” on plumbing so some sewage gas smell is present in bathrooms. Very common issue. One of the cleanest places we’ve stayed at. Would go again

Everything was okay, but I would not refer others to this hotel. For basic price it is okay. Parking was challenging, we had to drive around to find street parking as the lot near them had closed by 10 pm.
It is in a great location to the square. Right around the corner is a wonderful breakfast cafe too.
This is an adorable hotel
close to restaurants, cenote Zaci, the church and plaza for sightseeing. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The included breakfast was good. The rooftop dining for breakfast and the churroeria were very cute and modern. The small from the shower drains was bad and one room had no drain cover. We requested one twice from two different front desk attendants but never got one. The showers were very cold in both rooms in the morning and evening. We never did get a drop of warm water in either room even though we tried different times of day and letting it run for a very long time to warm up first… the front desk just said yes they knew about it and sorry.

Hotel Margaret is situated just a few blocks from the center which is great, to walk. The hotel has a modern flare from the outside and has been recently refurnished. It is small.
The room was clean, simple. It had a very small tv and mini fridge which we didn't mind because of our short stay.
Breakfast was ncluded. They have a menu with a few options to select from the day before, including enchiladas or chilaquiles or waffles or eggs your way. It was tasty.
The property has a pool we didn't use. There's no elevator, so if you don't travel light you may have to carry the luggage
upstairs.
Room was nice and clean. AC worked great, especially that it was 34C. Shower water never got hot.
Breakfast was omlette (for me) and waffle for my daughter. Free tea and hot water and there is a fridge and microwave for guests to use. Pool was small but adequate for sunning and cooling off.
It's a 2 minute walk to Cenote Zaci and 8 minute walk to the ADO bus station, so quite centrally located.

The bed was very comfortable and the front desk staff were very friendly. Great location, close to everything. The upstairs breakfast area has a great view. It was off-season so they were doing work, scraping the walls, but we also got a lower rate than usual I guess. I wouldn’t call it a “modern” hotel. It’s basic and needs updating, including fixing the pool, more comfortable pool furniture, and a more comfortable lounge area to hang out. Not like the pictures.

We liked the location and room and public spaces. Our main concern was the lack of warm and hot water for showers. That problem wasn’t resolved during our 5 day stay despite reporting it to the front desk.
Can't beat this location for a quick stay. Right in between the main square and cenote Zaci made for a quick walk to the two places we wanted to visit here. Street parking was easy and we parked right in front of the hotel each time we used the car. The hotel is in great condition and is very well taken care of.
We loved our stay there. Staff is very attentive and respectful. The onlu down part is the rooster next door that beging to crow every morning around 4 a.m.
I stayed here with my family for three nights and all of us loved it for various reasons. The common areas and rooms are very clean with upgraded interior details such as ceiling fans in every room and the much needed AC unit, light filtering window shades, wooden doors, upscale toilet, sink and shower fixtures. We loved the pool, small and cozy but refreshing. But what stole our hearts was the breakfast which was included in the room rate!!! Amazingly, it is not just coffee and pastries but actual, delicious, homemade meals. We each had a different plate: chilaquiles, enchiladas, omelettes, waffles and fruit. It was sooo good!! That alone should convince you to stay here, but if you need more convincing, there is a cute resident turtle roaming around :-) The location is so central: 5 mins walking distance to the main plaza, the cenote Zaci and also to the calzada de Los frailes. Without question, we’d stay here again. I HIGHLY recommend this lovely boutique hotel.
I reserved 3 rooms for a week.
The hotel is conveniently located, being close to the central parc and its church (on which a nice video projection was made some evenings on the history of the region).
The breakfast is really good and filling (there is a menu with different options: chilaquiles, enchiladas, eggs with ham and toasts, fruits with yogourt, waffles).
The staff is attentive to our requests (on how best to get somewhere for example) and is very patient with our limited spanish. Note that they do speak english.
We used Valladolid as the center of our little excursions (Merida, Chichen Itza, various cenotes and Rio Lagartos). Valladolid is to visit on foot and the road transportation system (ADO buses, taxis/collectivos) made it possible to reach our destinations.
All in all it was an enjoyable stay.

Good location, Okay hotel
Honest Review: This hotel had an excellent location - so it has that going for it.Very close to main plaza and walkable to most attractions/eateries.
Pro's= location, fairly clean, nice staff, free coffee & water, small pool looked nice (did not get in)
Con's = Was very loud internally. Walls seemed very thin. Could hear every noise from adjacent rooms, staircase, common areas, rooms above, etc. - Felt like the pictures on the website looked significantly better than what we actually arrived to Could likely pay a little more money for something better around the corner.
Also note: the hotel has ongoing renovations happening. Looks like building entire new floors above. This was NOT disclosed on Hotels.com -would have likely considered elsewhere.
