Tucked away on the peaceful outskirts of Bourton on the Water, often described as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’, this beautifully appointed holiday home offers the perfect base for families or friends to relax, reconnect and explore. Just a short and scenic stroll from the heart of the village, the property is ideally located to enjoy the many delights of the local area. These include cosy tearooms, traditional country pubs and family-friendly attractions such as Birdland, the Model Village, the Dragonfly Maze and the Cotswold Motoring and Toy Museum.

Arranged across a single level and framed by gentle countryside views, this light and spacious home offers comfort, privacy and practicality in equal measure. It features three generously sized bedrooms, comprising two king rooms and one twin, an open plan living and dining area with a classic Cotswold wood burning stove, a well-equipped kitchen, and a separate study for reading, relaxing or working quietly.

The kitchen is ideal for sociable gatherings, with a central island, bar stools and a breakfast table. French doors open directly onto a sunny terrace that leads to a beautifully maintained private garden. This is a perfect spot for morning coffee, long lunches or evening drinks. The large lawn offers plenty of space for games, relaxation or simply enjoying the peace and quiet. There is also a private driveway with carport, providing space for up to six vehicles.

Inside, large windows and elegant décor create a bright and welcoming atmosphere throughout. The dining area comfortably seats six for leisurely meals, and the living room features two generous sofas for restful evenings after a day exploring the countryside. The principal bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom with a bath, bidet, toilet and basin, while the main family bathroom has a modern walk-in shower.

This is wonderful place to stay. The photos don't do the size of the rooms justice. Very comfortably furnished with thoughtful touches from the host. Thank you particularly for the toys that kept our little ones busy over Christmas. Will keep this place in mind next time we want to stay near the village.
