"Front desk was awesome, had a causal conversation with me as we arrived. Quick turn around for some extra towels when my kids used up the ones in the room. Property was high end feeling, clean, and had proper amenities. Would recommend to friends and family if they were visiting the area. If we return to CHLA for more testing we will be back"

"Staff is very nice and helpful. Curb side loading and unloading is convenient though sometimes very crowded. A nice moderately priced DTLA hotel. Just be aware the rooms are clean but very small. "

"This was my 4th time staying at Freehand DTLA and I keep coming back for a reason. The location is unbeatable — walking distance to a bar, a grocery store, and CVS, which makes everything so convenient. The staff is amazing — always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which truly makes the stay even better. The rooms are consistently clean, and the shower water pressure is honestly incredible (such an underrated detail!). The only thing I’d love to see improved are the TVs. They don’t currently offer streaming or mirroring capabilities, so upgrading those would really elevate the in-room experience. Overall, I really enjoy staying here and will definitely be back."
