"It was definitely cleaned and when we got there the place smelled of strong bleach. There was two nice small bottles of Porto when we got there, which was nice. The apartment itself is very average and okay. The finishes are a bit worse in person, but that’s normal for these type of places. There is also a washing machine and drying rack for doing laundry which was a nice surprise. It’s in the cabinets so you don’t see it in the photos. There’s blackout curtains in the bedroom but not in the living room, which is where the air conditioning is. So if you close the door to not let in light it gets really hot. Be careful with the water, it’s extremely hot and melts plastic and easily burns you. The bed is very very firm and you can feel the springs. The couch is also very hard and uncomfortable. The faucet in the kitchen was not attached to the counter and flopping about. "

"This place is “quirky”- a little hard to find as there is minimal signage out front and it is very unimpressive from the street. However inside it’s a wonderful surprise. Spacious and very clean rooms, quiet, very good continental breakfast and very helpful staff. Although be cautious as the front desk is not maned at all times. (We locked ourselves out of the room and there was nobody at the desk , fortunately we found a housekeeper who had access.) There is even a washer and dryer for use free of charge.it is not in the historic area but within walking distance of the old city and plenty of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed it our stay despite the quirkiness and would highly recommend. "

"Very clean, well equipped. Bedding and towels excellent quality. Quite noisy with road noise so take your ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Overall great accommodation thankfully cheap Ubers for getting home as who knew Porto was hilly ! Lm art cafe downstairs did great breakfasts and welcome drink. Thank you "
