"Stayed in Kona Tower. I didn't care that the view was a parking lot. I was in town for a surgery and needed to stay overnight (2 nights). What I wasn't expecting was the very loud street traffic, garbage trucks, delivery trucks etc. that could be heard all through the night. Room and hotel were worth the cheaper price but if your a light sleeper, you've been warned. Downstairs "general store/gift shop" was very nicely stocked as I'd had eye surgery and literally could not see to venture out to get food."

"Location is excellent, walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Used nearby street parking which was reasonable cost but a bit a nuance using phone apps. Would be nice if parking was included at reasonable cost. That would probably make property more easier to select."

"I loved our suite on 30th floor. Very spacious. Amazing view of the harbor. Very secure with a 6 digit passcode on the door to the room. Ubers brought us to and from the front curb. I would definitely stay here again. My only concern… the entrance to the hotel is on street level but I didn’t see a single sign that said “The Aston Hotel”. I thought that was very poor communication by the hotel. The normal entrance was down the escalator to the downstairs lobby. Even at the top of the escalator, no Aston sign. We had luggage and finally discovered the elevator which just said “Hotel” and you had to press the intercom to get the elevator to open. Once we got checked in, we understood the location entrance. I’m sure the reason for making it difficult was to dissuade all the homeless street people on the street level."

"All rooms had an ocean view. Very spacious and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were close to the rest of our party who had booked separately. Even though it was busy the design of the towers made it not feel crowded at all. The pools were perfect with amazing sunsets! We were within a very short walk you our outstanding back to back Pink Sails turtle snorkeling and then coming off one of their boats to hop on another one to go on a whale watching tour. The hotel amenities were perfect with a cafe on site as well as a highly recommended restaurant. The bar staff at the pool had the best costumer service. We will be coming back for sure!"
