「The Inn is lovely and the staff is wonderful. The breakfasts were very filling with lots of great choices and the teatime and wine and cheese in the afternoon were lovely. The property could use some upgrading. The bathroom ceiling tiles were moldy and need to be replaced and outside of the guest room were trunks filled with cleaning supplies which should have been stowed way more discreetly. It’s an old house so the upkeep is considerable, but for the room rate, the place could use a little...

「The Bedford inn was a perfect getaway for the weekend. We arrived in town early and they called us as soon as our room was available so we could check in earlier. The house was lovely and very easy to access codes to get into both the house and our bedroom. Breakfast was AMAZING each morning with everything you could want. It was all fresh and homemade. The staff was very attentive and personable, giving us recommendations and accommodating for each guests needs. They also have great...

「The hosts were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good and it was nice to interact with the other guests- big tables. The location was good. It was a 5 to 10 minute walk to town. Cute antique store across the street. My only comment was the bikes were a little old, but OK for a short rides.」

「Pros: close to the beach; breakfast at the corner diner was delicious, as was the ice cream; ice was available; a gathering space w coffee and water; clean linens when requested; keyless front entry. The cleaning staff and restaurant staff were friendly. There is parking nearby in a small lot. Cons: the room was small; only having one room key was frustrating; the bed too soft & bouncy; threadbare and stained sheets; tiny, tiny shower; visibly dusty ceiling fan had sprayed dust across the walls...

「This is a beautiful property. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bartender was well informed of his stock and we had a nice chat with him. My wife, however, has one particular gripe. She believes that the lighting is so awful in the bathroom that it is impossible to apply make up without looking like it was done by an undertaker. It is way too dim. Other than that, we were very satisfied.」
