Beautiful, natural, well maintained park. Lots of shading, so you aren't subjected to the hot Texas sun while viewing the exhibits. I've been here five times and would go five more!!

zoo was smaller than I thought it would be. not crowded at all which was great. very convenient for parking as we got there early.

For Fixer Upper fans, Chip and Joanna Gaines recently opened their new store at a renovated silo property in Waco, TX. Lines on Saturday to get in the store extended around the block despite rain. Sunday was beautiful but the store was closed. The wonderful Baylor campus is just a few blocks away.
