The views at this little cottage are gorgeous. We loved the private, quiet beach. My kids found several sea creatures and were delighted by each one. When the sun was out, we spent lots of time floating in the bay or eating outside on the deck. The house is teeny, but was clean. The neighbors were friendly and generously offered floats/kayaks for our use, but otherwise waved from a distance. We loved the close distance to the canal bike trail and found a few things to keep us occupied nearby on the rainy days.
Unfortunately, the renters before us did not adhere to the no smoking guidelines and the house smelled awful for at least 3 days which was a real challenge/disappointment. The host did let us know ahead of time at least.
Kitchen could use some editing. Lots of things just “put away” wherever they fit, not a lot of organization. Was challenging to actually cook (which we did every night for budget reasons). In hindsight, I should’ve packed my own knives, scissors, cooking utensils, foil, paper towels, napkins, etc.
My only other critique is the screen door. It definitely needs to be fixed/replaced. We couldn’t use it during our stay and missed out on some nice sea breezes as a result :(
Overall a cute, tiny property with great views. We enjoyed our stay.
