"We stayed in a classic room, which was spacious and comfortable. You can park at the front of the hotel to unload then move your car. Breakfast had a varied choice although slow with the tea & coffee. "

No evening meals were being served in the hotel Monday to Friday, no notification prior to our visit. 20% discount given for evening meals at the Crecsent Hotel however a discretionary service charge of 12% was added to our bill without our knowledge. It was only when we asked for an itemised bill that we realised this had been added. Be aware!"

"The hotel.was ideally situated to explore Buxton. The area where the hotel was is lovely and quiet. The hotel itself is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We only stayed for 1 night which usually means you get a small room but the room was a good size. The floorboards outside in the corridors are very creaky which kept us awake at times and had we stayed longer it would have disturbed our sleep but other than that I would definitely stay here again."

"The property was warm and welcoming. However, the stairs are very steep and narrow - not ideal for elderly people. The downside was that we never received the key code to get into the property and had to communicate with the owner via the Vrbo website when we arrived. However she responded immediately - very good. Is this a problem with the Vrbo website?"
