"Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and had so many extra perks from pool, sand box, different areas with fire pits to sit, and my son's fav- mini golf. I will definitely be staying here again in the future. Only complaint was the traffic was loud which is just because of the location. I'd recommend a sound machine for light sleepers."

"The home was clean and bright, with everything we needed. It's just a short walk to Kettle Pond Visitor Center, which is a nice perk. It rained most of the time we were there, so being able to park in the garage and walk straight into the house without getting wet was a bonus. The owner was helpful and responsive."

Coastal Farmhouse at Ninigret Pond - 3.1 Mi to beach - Sleeps 4-12 people

"We rented the farmhouse while in town for a family wedding. The home was perfect to accommodate our 6 adults for two nights. We felt welcomed and right at home. We were greeted by a hand written note from the hosts and a lovely charcuterie board in the refrigerator. This home has plenty of space for a larger party and a longer stay. There are 2 large, comfortable and beautifully decorated family rooms and a dining room with a nice long table. The kitchen is well appointed and organized. And there are two full size refrigerators. The laundry room is conveniently located on the first floor. There are 3 full bathrooms. But note that one is on the first floor, separate from the bedrooms. This may be perfect for a family with small children. It's just right for bathing little ones. The oversized ensuite bathroom in the primary bathroom was perfect for all the women in our party to get ready together for the wedding! There were plenty soft, fluffy towels, facecloths and hand towels. The beds are comfortable with nice soft linens. I think the bedrooms on the third floor would be so fun for a bunch of cousins, but we didn't use them. There is no bathroom on the third floor.The outdoor space is so inviting! There's plenty of seating, both sunshine and shade. Perfect for happy hour, a cookout and yard games.All in all, this was a perfect home for our weekend!"

"The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. "

"First I’ll say that we have stayed in several places in Rhode Island and unfortunately our experience at this house wasn’t as positive as we had hoped.On the positive side, James was responsive and willing to come check on issues when we reached out. They left us a nice card to cover a day’s parking at a local beach. The back deck is great; we enjoyed grilling and dinner at the patio table. However, we were without hot water for two to three days. A few notes for future guests:The home is located in a low-lying part of the marina. This can cause some unpleasant odors in the area (not the fault of the home, but worth noting).The owner provided plenty of bottled water because the water from the faucets runs brown-yellow. We were told that it’s a regional issue and that the water is filtered, but it was still off-putting. The filtration system itself is super loud, kicking on whenever water is used and randomly — including at night.Cooling is a challenge. The single AC unit isn’t strong enough to cool the main living area or the back bedrooms with sub-80-degree weather, and with several windows painted shut, it was difficult to get good airflow.Cleanliness needs to be improved. We noticed spider webs, dust, and had to rewash dishes and utensils before using them. Beside the fridge and under the beds haven’t been cleaned in some time. The vacuum provided didn’t work, which made upkeep during our stay difficult.Lastly, a personal note we wish there were more comfortable seats for the five people the house accommodates. While there were some positives — mainly James’ responsiveness — overall, the home needs maintenance and cleaning to make it more comfortable for guests."
