「We had a nice stay at General Stanton. It’s a very cool old Inn with lots of character and was very clean. We checked in after hours so did not interact with any staff except over the phone but the remote check in process was still easy and we had no issues. Was a convenient and affordable stay for a concert in Matunuck.」

「They did not refresh our towels. Maybe they are super eco friendly, but they removed dirty towels and didn't give us replacements. We had to keep asking for more towels our whole stay. I don't understand why they would not give us any new towels. This is the main reason for the 3 rating」
「The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The property itself is right on the beach, which itself is beautiful and has a remarkable shoreline. In addition, the inn is near some great restaurants on the beach and in nearby towns. I have been going here for years and often see the same people. It is an inn that you will want to book summer after summer.」
「I thought I had booked a room with a kitchen when I made the reservation. However, when I arrived, I found that the room did not have a kitchen. I asked the lady at the front desk and she immediately responded. She was very kind and I was able to spend 3 wonderful days there. I highly recommend this facility!」

「It was a lovely 250 year old stagecoach inn. Our room was on the front next to a road intersection and I am a light sleeper. That being said next time we need to stay in the area i will make sure to have a room on the back over looking the river. Since I am a very light sleeper.
The Inn is very easy to get to and easy acess to most of RI since it is centrally located. Making it a perfect place to stay and see the sights.」
