"Been staying for years. It was a great place, then about 3-4 years ago it…changed. Not sure what but the quality of everything went down. Not the staff, you could tell the staff was frustrated, but they have always been great. During this stay there was storage containers of new furniture, their pool/hot tub was (mostly) fixed…. You can tell they are investing into the place! They are on the right path. I stay often, so I’ll right another review after their update. Overall, decent stay at a decent price. Staff great as always!"

"The Bay View Inn is a lovely historic property with charming rooms, vintage decor and wonderful views of the bay. Sunsets are spectacular and there are amenities like free bikes to enjoy the nearby areas for walking and riding. The staff is friendly and committed to making your stay enjoyable. We appreciated the complimentary Happy Hour from 4-6 and the breakfast menu offered. Location is fantastic for exploring the vibrant communities of Petosky, Bay View, Harbor Springs and Charlevoix. It’s only 36 minutes from the ferry to Mackinac Island as well. We’ll be back for sure!"

"Love this property for its cozy, historic ambiance and the beautiful views. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The only thing I would change is the dining options. The Rose room is wonderful for breakfast and it would be great if you could have a nice dinner there as well. The Noggin room is fun in its own way but not exactly a dining destination."
