「Lovely breakfast clean room staff very good as was air conditioning」

「The Bear of Burton was a perfect location for our two night stay visiting the New Forest. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade upon arrival which made our stay even better. The bathtub in the room is a perfect addition when you’ve had long walks throughout the day. Food was lovely and the rooms themselves were absolutely spotless. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and recommend this lovely hotel.」

「I forgot to ask for two single beds. I asked for it at the front desk and they had it ready for me. The front desk staff was very courteous and appreciative. Breakfast is also very good.」

「We stayed for 1 night at the hotel, in a lovely room at the back, overlooking the river. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the hotel is well maintained. As an electric car driver, the ability to charge the car overnight was a huge plus. Breakfast was good, fried egg, sausage, bacon etc, plus pastries and cereal available. Just two minor quibbles with the room: the air conditioning unit showed the set temperature illuminated with a very bright white light, which stopped the room from being...

「All the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and I really enjoyed the stay, Being able to use the spa facilities until 1pm on check out day was idea and its a very tranquil area. Only minor point is that the jacuzzi is not that warm to relax in - the jets blow cold water.」

「Nice hotel, the bar restaurant area has a good ambience. The Fork restaurant is ok, the battered fish was very poor, and the BBQ cauliflower dish is worth avoiding. They served stale biscuits and straight from the fridge cheese for their cheese platter but they did refund us for this dish. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was basic, clean with a soft bed which was ok. Overall it is a good place to stay in close proximity to the beach and town. Good value for money..」

「All staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and clean. Leisure facilities were excellent. Breakfast very good. Wi-Fi very good.」

「Our room was setup nicely. The staff was very helpful especially the bar staff Tom O went above and beyond. The spa was amazing and Sam was very professional and great with her skillful massage techniques. Loved the location, the river view and the hotel.」

「good location to the beach !」

「Lovely easy stay would recommend breakfast hamper」
