"As always the staff are welcoming, friendly, personal and professional. The room was spatious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast : delicious. I’ve now stayed at the Dixie around 14 times!! Highly recommend."

"A characterful converted cow shed with roof beams, but decorated in a modern way with all you need, and a free jug of milk.The bed was comfortable, and there was a wet room shower.I could not see any way to open a window, which I would have liked, and the Wifi only worked in half the room, which I mentioned to the owner.We were welcomed and again had goodbye said to us as we left, which was friendly.We prefer a separate bed room as one of us gets up very early, but it was OK for one night.A pleasant spot with a good atmosphere."

We feel so fortunate to have stayed here — and indeed liked it so much we extended our stay! The barn conversion is stunning. The interior design is the perfect marriage of form and function. And the hosts are incredibly kind and helpful. This is the perfect country retreat if you want to curl up with a book by a log fire. The kitchen is a delight to cook in — and there's Ingham's Farm Shop nearby for deluxe supplies! And there's lots to do in the surrounding area for those seeking adventure. This is an absolute hidden gem. Would highly recommend."
