「We had a nice stay at General Stanton. It’s a very cool old Inn with lots of character and was very clean. We checked in after hours so did not interact with any staff except over the phone but the remote check in process was still easy and we had no issues. Was a convenient and affordable stay for a concert in Matunuck.」

「The perfect spot away from town. Quiet with an excellent view. Suite 9 has a huge bed and a private jacuzzi. Cleanliness is off the charts as is the service, really can’t ask for more. Quick walk to Yellow Kittens and Winfield’s but far enough away to avoid the noise. Already reserved for next year… this is the place, look no further. For the car guys - safe parking so you can bring your car without worry. 」

「I thought I had booked a room with a kitchen when I made the reservation. However, when I arrived, I found that the room did not have a kitchen. I asked the lady at the front desk and she immediately responded. She was very kind and I was able to spend 3 wonderful days there. I highly recommend this facility!」

「They did not refresh our towels. Maybe they are super eco friendly, but they removed dirty towels and didn't give us replacements. We had to keep asking for more towels our whole stay. I don't understand why they would not give us any new towels. This is the main reason for the 3 rating」

「My only problem was the bed we had . Very low to the floor . While the bed was very comfortable it was difficult for me to get out of at my age and health . Other than that I was very happy with my stay .」
