"Staff are excellent go above and beyond breakfast very tasty and no rush to finish parking could be better if people didn’t block the entrance room not the cleaners fault but there was a hole in the duvet cover and the net curtains were shabby"

"The hotel is incredible! We were greeted at the front desk by friendly staff who were very helpful in storing our luggage until our check in time and pointing the way to the bus station so we could explore Hadrian’s Wall that morning. Upon our return we were greeted by more friendly staff and directed to our room. When we opened the door our reaction was “Wow! What a great place!” The rooms were spacious and decorated beautifully. Tea, crumpets, local jam, and other accompaniments were laid out for us. We felt so welcome! We would book this hotel again in a heartbeat. It was hard to tear ourselves away at checkout!! You will love it!"

"the ibis Carlisle is a 5 minute walk from the train station and the same into the centre so it's perfectly situated. the hotel is keenly priced and the staff are very cheerful and helpful."

"Friendly very clean and had good selection of towels and good range of tea and coffee with buscuits much better than some chains which are mean, the car park was off site but took my car reg details and so that i was not charge at the car park beind other building accross the road. see if this is the case"

"My daughter and I had a lovely stay. Lynn was sooo nice and very obliging. She even offered to do a sandwich on our last morning as we left so early to catch a flight. Breakfast was soooo tasty! As good as my mams!!! Lovely clean place and close to Carlisle centre! We would definitely go back!"

"For what we paid for the room we were not expecting much, from the outside and communal area it looked like its in need of some TLC but we recieved a lovely welcome from reception all reception staff were very friendly, we were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our room, nice big room, seats to sit, places to put clothes, clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a wonderful nights sleep some lovely little touches like tea cofee and biscuits plastic cups, we had booked breakfast also not expecting much for what we paid i can not fault the choices and it was very tasty. About a 20 min walk to the town centre but we could have caught a bus at the bottom of the street. We would recommend and would stay again "
