Very friendly staff in popular and welcoming village local.
We only stayed one night and didn't eat here though the menu looked great. Obviously popular with locals and tourists alike for a small village it was busy on the Saturday night we stayed.
Room was clean and comfortable though dated. The bed was a bit older than some but perfectly pleasant. The surrounding area is stunning with plenty to do within a short drive and lots of walking on your doorstep. Overall a most enjoyable stay.
Brilliant place to stay. The staff can’t do enough for you and go out of their way to make your stay as good as possible and the locals are very friendly
From the moment we arrived we were treated like family, it was a very relaxed atmosphere but efficient service. Anything we needed was arranged from taxi numbers to warm milk for our three year old. Great food and drinks too. A good size accommodation with a cosy but fresh feel. All staff were welcoming and happy to help. We will definitely stay here again.
Great location for visiting historical sites within 2 hours drive time. Nice staff. Many local people visiting Odd Fellows Arms pub to give you a bit of local area history.
Great people looking after us and great food to. Beautiful walks in our great countryside

Great traditional pub/B&B.
Lovely traditional pub/B&B in a lovely village. Great lively pub and dining area with a great breakfast. No noise at all from the pub in the room. Very comfortable bed.
Very nice country pub with excellent beer and nice atmosphere. Don't expect 4 star hotel rooms but then you don't pay anything close to 4 star hotel prices! My room was clean, comfortable and all you need for an overnight stay.
The food was OK but could improve a bit - the fish was over-battered, the chips not fully cooked. The full English breakfast the next morning was fine.
The only gripe was that the young staff woke me up at 01-30 chatting and laughing out the back of the pub, right underneath my window. This went on for a long time and eventually I had to bring it to their attention. It was then still a little longer before they finally left. Hopefully in the future they will be a bit more considerate.
All in all, good quality for the price and can be recommended.

A very pleasant stay at the inn complemented by thoughtful and friendly staff
Very pleasant, basic room which was clean, had all the necessities and where the staff couldn’t have been more pleasant or helpful. Nice pub with good homemade food.

Road Trip Stop Over
Turned up on a Friday night, pub was busy but got shown to our room quickly. Ordered food at the bar and there was a good selection. Breakfast was lovely, a full English and they provided packed lunches, so ideal for travellers.
Friendly staff, decent food and a nice room which turned out to be more of a suite.
Good location for travelling from the north of England to Scotland.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Oddfellows Arms, the owner was very welcoming and so was her son who showed me to my room. The chef was also very helpful and even made her signature dish for me one night, accompanied by a freshly made full english breakfast each morning.

Agreeable
The proprietors were friendly and welcoming and did all to ensure my stay was comfortable. The pub's location is well suited to exploring the town, being a 5-10 min walk from the centre on a quiet street.
Although there was nothing wrong with my (single) room, I was disappointed with it relative to the cost. I paid a bit more to stay here (could have booked a cheaper room) but it lacked cosiness and/or home comforts- small TV, bed etc. I had no control over the heating although when I told the proprietors it was cold they did correct this.
Lovely little B&B above a delightful pub. We were very well looked after and given great tips and advice about the area by the owners. Everyone was very welcoming. The room was cozy and clean, nothing fancy but just what we needed for a little night away with friends. Great location, close to the centre of Cirencester. Great value for money.

The last room in Cirencester!
Having passed through Cirencester a few weeks ago on a Sunday (don't visit on a Sunday as most shops are closed), decided to visit again on a day when the shops were most likely to be open (and there was a craft market on). Sadly, as disorganised as ever, by the time I got round to booking, the only room left sub-the-£250-pound-a-night-Kings_Head, the only room left within the town borders was the Oddfellows ... with a shared bathroom. Whilst the Four Pillars looked bland and corporate for the same price, it would have meant staying outside of town and driving in the next day, so we took the plunge, and we're glad we did. The Oddfellows is a proper pub - it has a proper fire, and proper beer. You can play darts ... and pool, and talk as there isn't music blaring out, and it has dogs - the pub dog (Ted - the friendliest lab on the planet), local dogs (Jonesy - a splendid labradoodle), and if you wanted to bring your own, it's also allowed.
Fortunately the shared bathroom was ours for the night, as there was no-one in the other room. The room itself was clean and tidy, if a tad compact, and breakfast was lovely. The windows open, and as the pub is on a residential street, it's quiet, so had a good night's sleep. It's easy walking into the town centre, which is lovely, and well worth a visit.
If you're looking for luxury, you won't find it here, but if you're looking for friendly staff, a nice room, and a good breakfast, you've hit the jackpot. As Arnie said, 'I'll be back'
Lovely people & resident dog ted , only stayed one night for visiting , once music had gone off & customers went very quiet . Nice touch in room bottles of water, but on the down side shower cubicle really needs work..
