"For the price, the hotel room itself was fine. Comfortable bed, clean and a hot shower. However calling itself an airport hotel with no shuttle to the airport is quite unfortunate. If you have an early morning flight, you can either book an expensive taxi, take the bus that only runs once an hour or take a chance on an uber showing up. "This is an incredibly welcoming setting...the flats are beautifully appointed and we enjoyed the fabulous bedding, espresso coffee maker, fireplace, etc--just so many very thoughtful details, and immaculately clean throughout. "Our nephew's wedding was at Blake Hall, Ongar on the 13th May. This property is well placed for our reason for visiting the area but five adults and one child enjoyed this well appointed and spacious house. Our grandson enjoyed a nearby petting farm and an excellent park and play area. Bishops Stortford has a myriad restaurants with any number of cuisines. Thoroughly recommend."
