「A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10」

「Very helpful and friendly owners, great location for visiting our new granddaughter. 2 mins walk to lovely Pearsons park. Some lovely welcoming items, lots of fresh fruit, bread, butter, milk and cake all vegan as owners are, a couple of things i would suggest is maybe a door curtain could be put in place as there was no privacy going from the bathroom across the kitchen to the bedroom also there was no smoke alarm present. All in all a nice stay 👍 」

「My parents live locally and have just moved house so they weren’t ready to host guests. We chose this apartment for our family of four to be near my mum and dad and within walking distance of Hornsea town centre and the beach. The apartment was a perfect location and really well equipped. A particular bonus was the king size bed in the main bedroom, we were really comfortable. Only small niggle was the automatic lights in the hallway that came on and off throughout the day and night,...

「Fantastic spacious apartment. Everything and more than expected. Very tastefully furnished and very well presented. Spotlessly clean and beautiful crockery and kitchen items. Bathrooms/Shower rooms perfect with quality towels. Although there was only 2 adults and 1 dog this apartment can accommodate 7 easily. Cannot recommend this beautiful apartment enough.」

「What a fantastic property and lovely location, we booked The Cart Shed as a base for visiting York, the amazing Aquarium in Hull and the nearby town of Beverley which is such a lovely town with all the shops and eateries you would want. Staying here would also be a relaxing and peaceful place for a break. The Cart Shed has everything you need, just pack your clothes and enjoy the experience. Will definitely be returning!」

「A very relaxing holiday in this comfortable accommodation with great lakeside views and a wide variety of bird life. There are 5 pubs in Barton, some with good food and ales only 15 minute walk away. Sunday lunch in the newly renovated George Inn was particularly tasty and good value. Walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds , a trip to Cleethorpes 30 minutes drive away, and a quick bus caught just down the road took us to Hull in 30 minutes for a day round the old town and marina. Highly recommended...
