"In an excellent location for walking around. Lots to see and places to eat. Taxi / Uber won’t come right to the front so something to be considered if you have a lot of luggage. Room was a good size and clean. The beds are like sleeping on a table and I like a hard bed. Bathrooms have a real outlet for curling irons. Front desk was helpful. Varying levels of English. Would definitely stay here again."

"Frustrated that the rooftop bar and restaurant were “temporarily closed.” There was no signs or anything to say that it was closed. We went up there and noticed everything was blocked off and there was not even any cushions on the chairs for people to sit and enjoy the nice weather and views."

"I have zero bad things to say about this property. It is in the perfect location, walkable everywhere. The staff is superb, every single person. They treat you like royalty. The hotel is sparkling clean, from the lobby to the room, pool and gym. The rooms at Olivia Balmes is so clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is about 6 minutes walk to Eixample luxury shopping district. 25 minutes walk to La Sagrada Família. You can also walk to La Rambla. In short, do not hesitate, book this hotel right away. The toilet, sink and shower have separate doors so you won’t hold up the restroom if someone is showering. The floor is not carpet, it’s wood and very clean. There are 2 full length mirrors in the room. Also plenty of plug in outlets."

"Breakfast was okay,the staff was very helpful and kind. The room was facing another building. Not much to see out of it. The bar on the roof,is a must. We eat outside on our last night on the street. Homeless people were coming to the table for money,but food was good."
