"This was a fantastic experience as a first time traveler! All of the staff were extremely helpful!! In particular, Jocelyn helped get us book a taxi at 6h50 in the morning! And they all provided excellent tips for what to do in Monteverde. And the kitchen staff were so kind, and they are great cooks, breakfeast was incredible. The view from our room was one of the best part of our trips! I will definelty be coming back on my future trips to Monteverde."

"Highly recommend staying at Amalu Resort! We stayed at the Tiny House for my birthday and they made sure to make it extra special! You can tell the owners have gone to extra lengths with all of the little details. The concierge Aaron even greeted us with a warm welcome, stocked fridge, warm hot tub, and ice bucket of champagne! He pointed out wildlife that you could see around the property. family friendly. It is a little bit away from the town but we liked being more in nature. the stars were so bright and the sunset was beautiful. I'd stay there again!"

"What a gem! from a warm welcome at check in to checkout Tityra lodge was a oasis in the mountains. We stayed as a family of four and and two bedrooms. The lodge was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and although small there was plenty of choice. They even remembered my wife’s allergy which was mentioned at check in and highlighted unsuitable foods. We used the hot tub which was a lovely treat. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around the boundary trail. It is a car drive from monteverde so would recommend if you have a car."

"The home was very clean, and after a very stressful experience traveling into the country, my children and I separated from my wife due to an American Airlines mess-up with a broken seat, this house was immediately relaxing and welcoming. Open spaces, quality decor, and my favorite part: located very close to the Zipline adventure park, el Tigre waterfall, and the town of Santa Elena. There is so much to do nearby that the location is really top notch. The house is relaxing and well-kept. I would bring my family here again. "

"Location is about 20–25 minutes from downtown. The space is cozy and suitable for a family of four, and the balcony is very nice. However, there was an ongoing odor in the room, and the bathroom had a strong smell, which affected our overall comfort. "
