"Although this hotel is a lower price point than hotels I had stayed at in Costa Rica in the past the service and facilities were excellent. However, the star of the hotel is Paco the resident doggy. Very friendly an greeted us when we returned from every outing. Also, contact the hotel in advance and they will arrange airport transportation and tours and excursions. Our favorites were horse back riding and the night anima tour. "

"Beautiful property! Our room was wonderful. Comfy beds and pillows, lovely robes and slippers and the view from our porch was amazing. The breakfasts were great and as vegetarians we had lots of choices which was appreciated. The staff was so helpful and friendly. "

"Staff, Josephine, was so welcoming and helpful. Like a host inviting you to their home, she showed us around and answered every question informatively and kindly. The bed was so very comfortable and the room perfectly clean and equipped for comfort. The place felt like home away from home, as we gathered in the evening around the fire, sharing mutual interest and taking recommendations on good places to eat. The parking is gated which helped us feel secure. We learned bed the design of the B&B and our favorite place was the deck o er looking the Monteverde mountains. We had no problems with getting our Monteverde Extremo shuttle pickup and return, a big reason we selected this location. Once we saw the road conditions up that mountain we were very glad of our choice. Upon returning midday following our extreme adventures, we went to the kitchen, heated in the microwave our pizza from the previous night, and enjoyed our relaxed lunch in the deck with a view. I am so glad we selected Camino Verde!"

"The house is fantastic — spacious, with two floors, and each bedroom has its own private bathroom, which is a big plus. However, it’s important to know that the property is part of a larger complex, including a duplex and nearby houses, so you can definitely hear the neighbors at times. One major downside for us was the lack of access to a washing machine. We stayed for six nights and were only provided with one towel per person and two small cloths for drying dishes. Given the humidity in the area — where nothing dries properly — this was really inconvenient and disappointing. That said, the location is great — nestled in the mountains and close to many activities and national parks. We even walked to Aventura Park in under five minutes! Overall, I’d say it’s a great place if you’re only staying for a short visit. "

"We had a fantastic 10 day stay at Casa Mia Suite and there is no better location to enjoy the wonders of the cloud forest while resting, relaxing, hiking the trails around the property, and making wonderful memories!!! We drove through a crazy thunderstorm to reach Monteverde and were welcomed by the gorgeous oasis surrounding Casa Mia. If you enjoy being lulled to sleep by rain in a supremely comfortable bed and waking each morning to the beauty of the cloud forest outside the floor to ceiling windows, we absolutely recommend this amazing property! The son of the hosts was wonderful in providing onsite support when we had questions about the Monteverde area, which was greatly appreciated. We have stayed in VRBO homes throughout the US and abroad and Casa Mia is definitely in the exceptional category! We would highly recommend choosing this fabulous location if you are looking for an oasis with all the comforts of home nested in the gorgeous cloud forest of Monteverde. Pura Vida!"
