Econo Lodge Manistee

10/10 Excellent

"We come to Manistee at least once every summer and we always stay at this hotel. Staff is always very nice and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and my daughter and I always enjoy the pool and hot tub. Other than the toilet running off and on constantly we had no complaints. As others said, it would be nice if breakfast had a few healthier options but we still made due and the lady who works in the dining area was really nice. It does make me sad because we plan on coming back to Manistee in the Fall and we had to choose a different place to stay because since it went under Econo Lodge the cost has gone up significantly and the hotel is pretty much exactly the same as it has been for years. Please consider making your prices reasonable again so your loyal customers don’t have to go elsewhere."

"The room itself and bathroom were clean and well cared for. Convenient location in walking distance close to the beach and the restaurant downstairs was good. I do wish the description explained the room would be on second floor with no elevator. There room was small, don't bring a lot of luggage with you."

"This was a beyond amazing place to stay! The friendliness and inclusiveness here is top tier, with so many little extras you wouldn’t think of. All while staying extremely budget friendly for the value making traveling up north to my hometown still accessibly affordable. That means more than you know."

Harbor Lights Resort

"At check in I was greeted by a very polite young lady and my check in was quick and easy. We were on the ground floor in room 11 which has a window shade that does not go all of the way down, and was a little unnerving (this room is not a beach view as it faces the parking lot). Parking was very full when we arrived however, we were able to move our car closer and closer as the weekend progressed and folks came and went from the property freeing up closer parking spots. To my horror I found the bathroom toilet (seat and lid) up in the office/pool area was covered in a substance resembling feces when I attempted to use it while visiting the pool area. Overall the stay was nice, I think it is a bit overpriced for what you get and not even being a holiday, though it was to celebrate a special family occasion. Overall the place is clean and it really is a lovely property with lovely attentive staff. I think the bathroom being dirty was not the norm as it appeared the property is well maintained. We love visiting the area and have done so since the kids were small and now I take my grandchildren. For future visits to Frankfort, I would probably not stay here again due to the price, but that is just my personal preference."

"This house completely blew away all of our expectations. The views are nothing short of unreal, and the house itself is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and soaking in the hot tub under the stars was the ultimate way to unwind.It provided the perfect escape from the city, allowing us to slow down, relax, and create incredible memories together as a family. Every detail made our trip comfortable and seamless. We couldn't have asked for a better stay in Arcadia, and we are already looking forward to coming back!"
