"I was here for three days and each day I was less impressed. I ordered a flank steak med rare from the Tavern and received the most well done steak I've ever received. On top of that, the "chef" said that the rest of the cuts left were not up to their liking and advised me to order the NY Strip instead. It's laughable you even designate someone a chef at such a podunk establishment. On top of that, I found used tissues in my tissue dispenser in my room and while I was walking by front desk I overheard the two employees conversing and one of them said, "Why are we entering rooms while they're occupied and without notice?”. I didn’t probe further but this seems like a huge invasion of privacy at an establishment you literally pay them for. The WIFI is absolute garbage whether you pay for it or not and you can't rely on your cell reception because that too is almost non existent inside the building. There were times where I couldn’t receive messages for multiple hours. I've stayed here in the past and it was fine but this stay was absolute bottom of the line for me. Hope you all improve in the future. "

"The man who checked us in did not seem happy to see us. Usually, staff are welcoming and friendly. Not this guy. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a beautiful view of the lake. For the best view, you need to be higher than the second floor. There were no creamers for the coffee at the pantry. I checked 3 different floors and notified the front desk. It may seem like a minor inconvenience, but when you are in a hurry and need to drive a long distance, it's a problem."

"We stayed here exactly one year ago for our child's admitted student day at UVM and are glad we came back. The renovations they were undergoing at that time resulted in a very comfortable Lobby and restaurant/ bar area. The bartender who served us on Friday night was incredibly friendly and helpful. The valet/parking service was very convenient and efficient. The beds were comfortable and the location in town was super convenient."

"The house was great and had everything we needed for our stay. The yard was perfect for our dogs as well. Host was very nice and responsive. "

"A wonderful home that was the perfect size and had everything that I needed for a solo trip. I stayed in all 3 days and did not skii, hike, or bike. I did not have to reach out to the host at all during the trip. Sunlight was a plenty, kitchen equipment and bathroom was well stocked, bed and couches were comfortable. The only thing to note is that the HVAC systems are in the closet in the bedroom, so there was sometimes a low fan noise in the night. I didn't bring my ear plugs, but I slept fine. There is a white noise machine in the bedroom for you to use as well."
