「Katie and Dave are amazing hosts and the property is exceptional. Their attention to detail in each room is apparent and watching the sun set over Lake Superior was awesome. Would highly recommend the Blue Wave Inn if you are ever in the area. A trip truly worth taking.」

「This was a 2 star property in a 5 star location. The only window in our small room looked right out to the indoor pool and a hot tub about 8 feet away, so it was unusable. The breakfast offerings were similar to the pastries, cereal and waffles provided by other motel chains. But the location! The large lawn was right on the lake, with chairs and picnic tables. We saw a bald eagle, a blue heron, a black swan and a thousand cormorants in the bay.」

「This is a cute little efficiency condo—nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. I especially loved the location: close to town, yet tucked away in a quiet wooded area, far from the noise and traffic.I only have two minor criticisms, neither of which significantly impacted our stay. First, the window air conditioner seemed either inadequate or not functioning properly, as it didn't cool the room very well. Fortunately, opening the windows provided enough fresh air to make the evening...
