"Room was clean and tidy. The HVAC worked well to get a good temperature in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle was punctual. Good overall experience."

"The room was fine. Beds were comfy. Pool was filthy. I could see an actual layer of film and dirt and hair floating on it. The parking lot was also littered with trash. We saw a crack pipe in the parking lot. Lots of homeless people hanging out in back lot"

"I rarely post a poor review but this hotel had no heat, and the neighborhood is famously bad with lots of homelessness and theft. Many many hotels exist in Anchorage, at all price points. This one needs some attention. "

"My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 20+ years. This was my first visit in a few years. The lobby update was gorgeous. But the pool couldn't be used, and I am positive I wouldn't have used it, as it was DIRTY. The only thing nice about the hot tub was that the water was hot. The water was really dirty, lots of floating things, and the bench seat scraped your skin as it needs to be resurfaced. Most of the employees at this hotel were amazing. The wait staff need more training. Our room was awesome. "

Parking was always available when we came back for the evening. Will definitely stay here again. Only wish it had a small pool for the kids to burn off some energy. "
