「The place itself is very nicely set up, cozy, and located in a quiet neighborhood. Very neat and comfortable. We definitely appreciated the bottles of water kept around the house. Unfortunately, our overall experience was impacted by a couple of issues. Communication around check-in was not great. We hadn’t received any instructions until check-in despite reaching out to the host a couple of hours before check-in time but we didn’t hear back until after the 4 PM check-in time which happened...

「The location and view of this property is phenomenal. Walking distance to the shops on the Homer Spit, the docks, and beachcombing. It is apparent the owners or managers have allowed this property to be a “cash cow” while deferring significant maintenance. The flooring in the kitchen/dining/living area is in very rough condition. 「There was a wonderful game room in the basement for the older children and a super fun play place for the young children. The house was very clean and well stocked with dishes and towels both in kitchen and bathrooms. I would have liked extra blankets and throw blankets for extra cool nights. It would have been more cozy. 」
