"Pros: We chose Villa Lizo to celebrate our parents 80th birthdays. 12 of us comfortably stayed in the villa and apartment. There are plenty of sun beds and shade if you want it. The accommodation is spacious and impressive with excellent air-conditioning to cope with the high temperatures of July/August. "The service (Stephanie and others) was outstanding! They made us feel welcome from the moments we walked in the door. The welcome glass of cava was a lovely surprise. We sat on the rooftop terrace one afternoon and felt quite spoiled when the delivered wine to us even though we were quite happy to carry it ourselves. We felt quite spoiled! The room was clean and lovely and the bed and pillows were extremely comfy. We will definitely return next year. A wonderful time in Altea! "

"Rooms were large. Breakfast was great, however, for a 5 star hotel, not having a proper coffee machine in the room (powdered coffee and kettle provided, breakfast starts at 8 am) is not acceptable. Furthrmore, wifi in the rooms was so weak and poor, could not log in (had to go to reception to do so), and then could not upload normal apps like IG. Hotel reception were aware of this problem, so ongoing for a while. Also could not watch Netflix on iPad. TVs in the room are not smart TVs, not good enough for a 5 star hotel. Staff were all friendly and pleasant though. Would not stay here again. "

"Wonderful hosts, very helpful and attentive. Apartment is in a lovely position, overlooks the sea and true to the photos and only a 15 minute (flat) walk to the main town. The secure parking is a real bonus as is having a lift in the building. Ideal place for a couple."
