"Went in May. Bunk was warm but not unbearable, although had no need for the quilt. I found the mattress quite comfortable, and although the compartment was small I was able to move around inside comfortably. Noise does travel easily between adjacent compartments for those easily disturbed. I fear that on one heavy-drinking night I may have been the snoring disturbance, so bear this in mind. "2nd time staying, 2nd review. Great place and great service. Unlike some of the other places I’ve stayed at during two weeks in Japan, the four different staff members I interacted with all spoke excellent English. Can’t recommend this place enough."

"Lovely hostel, we booked the family room, decent size for family of 4 with big luggages. What I really like wash sink, shower & bathroom is separated which makes getting ready in the morning fuss free! Situated in good location, less than 3 mins walk to underground subway station! Lots of good restaurants around the area & shopping! A very good stay! "

"I stayed here for a week in February and I would likely stay here again - just knowing that the breakfast that is supposed to be included is a stack of Starbucks cards, $1,000 yen for each night you're staying. The shared dorm featured guests of all ages, not just the college/party aged crowd, and there was a mix of foreign tourists as well as locals in the 6-bunk landing where my top bunk was. Laundry worked well - make sure to bring your own detergent, there is none available in the laundry...

"The bathroom stinks really bad! It looks kind of clean but the smell is just unacceptable. When i checked in they there was a mug with mold in my capsule! If you are planing on saving some money and eating at the hostel don't count on it. There is no kettle nor microwave to make your food warm. "

"Pretty much everything one can hope for a family room. I just wished for better ways to get my questions answered. The remote staff was not always available during the day. One can only hope to bump into one of the staff in person. "
