「I booked a twin room, but the room was double, which was not cozy for a mother and a son. There was no consent in the bathroom, so I could not use a hairdrier in the bathroom. The location was very good. 」

「Fantastic pub with a brilliant menu」

「Our second visit and it certainly did not disappoint. From our arrival, being met in the car park, through our stay to the very last minute, the staff could not do enough for us. Room was spacious and well laid out. Lemon cake already in the room was delicious. Grounds are amazing especially if like me, you are interested in plants, their growth and wellbeing. The orchard and veg/herb gardens are a joy. We opted for the tasting menu which was wonderful. Strawberry dessert was to die...

「Conveniently located in the center of town, within a 5-minute walk to bus stops and other amenities. Public transportation was not convenient since it was off-season, but there are several restaurants nearby, so you will not have trouble finding a place to eat. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the rooms are small and there is no elevator. The staff is friendly and helpful, although their personal experience varies. The food in the restaurant is good.」

「Brilliant stay, check in was quick and smooth. Show to our rooms which were clean and spacious with large king bed. Staff were excellent during the stay and even did us a meal which wasn't on the recently updated menu. Breakfast freshly cooked and again adapted the choice for my colleague. 」

「Outdated. No whwre near what it was before. Room was old dated and filthy. Food option was very very very poor and the staff struggled to keep up with drinks. So upset with our experience. we were so looking forward to it and a special occasion ruined 」

「イギリス最古の宿という謳い文句に惹かれて２泊しました。雰囲気は大変よかったのですが、昔の建物ということもあり、天井が低く、部屋も狭く感じました（スイートルームはそうではないようですが・・・）。周辺はコッツウォルズの美しい田園風景が広がり、気持ちのよいウオーキングが楽しめました。」

「Set in a village, it has a relaxing feeling with large garden area to the rear. Proper sun trap. Garden room was spacious.」

「Lovely inn in quaint Oxfordshire village. Food and service were excellent and we had a charming cosy room in the Eves of the hotel. Would highly recommend now it is owned by two brothers who clearly take great pride in delivering a wonderful experience.」

「Nicola's breakfasts were wonderful. Full of lovely homemade delicacies. Both Nicola and Chris made us feel welcome and had wonderful insight into the history of this very quiet, little town. My daughter and I recommend highly!」

「A particularly nice welcome. A very well appointed en suite facility. A good sized and comfortable bed - very thoughtful and good quality ancillary furniture in the room. Very good breakfast. You can easily see why Rafters was awarded a 5 Star AA rating in 2023 - well done Sigrid!! Would make Rafters my first choice if I needed to stay in this area again. Peter May.」
