"The hotel and the room itself were fine. I actually liked my room, I enjoyed the windows that opened up to the street on the second floor. I like the historic character of the building and room. I also enjoyed having a kitchen, and I liked the closet that provided a desk and sitting area. I liked the keyless entry to the building and the room. Two big downsides were that there is no on-site parking. They do offer a $15 a night parking pass at a nearby garage that is within walking distance. The other downside was there are a lot of homeless people in the area with mental health issues and drug use. Lots of screaming outside in the street and sirens going by."

"Room was clean and the staff was very cordial and welcoming. Arrived a little early and they didn’t make me wait too long before checking me in. The property is walking distance to the convention center which is exactly what we were looking for. Some things to consider: the hotel is in an area that is surrounded by apartments. Parking is extremely limited on the street and a parking structure is not available on the premises. I paid the additional fee to park at a structure nearby, which was about a block and a half away. This is a good option, except that I didn’t feel safe walking to the car late at night. In addition, the walls are thin. I was awoken a few times during the night by the sound of sirens on the main street as well as by the noise coming from the apartment building next door. Overall, the hotel was a good price and served its purpose, but I likely wouldn’t stay there again."

"The staff in total was the standout. Everyone, and we mean EVERYONE, took the time to speak, greet us, thank us and the hotel itself was lovely. But really, the staff makes it all work. We felt genuinely welcome."

"Cute Lobby. The location to the town is good, but it is super noisy and the parking and walking in the evening and night is not safe. Unfortunately, there are a lot of homeless around the entire block and people out all night yelling. The day staff was very nice. The check in staff barely acknowledged anyone even looked up. Be prepared to walk up 2-3 floors of very steep stairs. We wanted to live this property, but it didn’t feel safe."
