The restaurant in the hotel serves great Japanese breakfasts and the dinner Chef's kaiseki is fabulous. The restaurant staff is very good too. The location was ideal for my 4 night stay in Kanazawa. The only suggestion I have is for more lighting to be set up over the cabinet, refrigerator, counter area. That area is quite dark at night "

"Overall was very good, conveniently located, simple check in, close to public transport. The only down side is central heating and cooling so the climate control in the room was useless and it got quite stuffy in the room. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Kanazawa. It’s within 15-20mins walking distance of all Kanazawa’s main sites, and the hotel’s onsite onsen is great - especially after a long day sightseeing. The staff were kind and the breakfast was great. The only criticism is the check-in process - they made all clients wait until 1500 on the dot to check-in regardless of whether rooms were ready or not. If I could give a score for check-in, it would be very low. Other than that, I’d recommend this hotel for your stay in Kanazwa. "
