"This property offered a very convenient location for what we intended to do on this trip. We wanted to visit downtown Duluth, the Canal Park area, the Aquarium and the Lake Superior RR Museum. Staff was competent. The parking was sketchy. The bed was good, pillows were fair, temperature control was satisfactory. Coffee was available in the lobby and was good; breakfast was not available. Overall, the property is ready for a facelift, but it was satisfactory."

"Room was very clean. However, the sign for the Disabled parking place had been knocked down and was laying on the grass in front of the space. Also, guests were allowed to sit on the benches in the covered entryway by the front door and SMOKE. This is totally unacceptable in a "Smoke Free" facility. Designate a smoking area at the edge of the property so guests aren't forced to go through a cloud of smoke to enter or exit using the front door!!"
