"Really clean,comfortable and well appointed rooms. Located within yards of a bus stop taking us to the city centre. The TV was a little unreliable- probably due to Wi-Fi connectivity but it wasn’t a big issue. There’s ironing boards and irons but the info sheet didn’t say how to find them - in a cupboard on ground floor for future reference. The property was generally quiet and we felt safe. Just about 10 minutes away walking distance was the Magdalen inn which had great food - maybe a tad...

"Excellent service and friendly helpful staff. Excellent location, right next to the train station, plenty of free parking. Hotel was clean and warm despite it being freezing. Our room didn’t have an en suite and had to access our private bathroom across the corridor. Room was cosy, a little old fashion in decor but added to the charm. I would definitely return and recommend. "

"Elegant location with very comfortable bedroom and highly modernized bathroom. Pleasant view of the grounds. Entrance is via the East lodge to the left when facing the main entry. Uber does not exist in Oxford, but there are taxi services that can be called such as Royal taxi and 101 taxi."
