「The Henlopen is right on the boardwalk. Within one minute you're on the beach and a quick ten minute boardwalk stroll to the center of town. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The view from our oceanfront balcony was as good as it could get. We watched the sun rise over the crashing waves almost every morning. As I see it, the only downside for this hotel might be that there's no pool. However, we didn't really miss it. For its location and cleanliness, we were very pleased...

「Great experience! The location is perfect. It is an older hotel, but they have maintained it well. The bathroom is very small, but has everything you need. Very well done. The staff is top notch! So helpful and all smiles. 」

「Overall loved the room and location. The rooftop pool needed cleaned, the rooftop bathroom very much needed cleaned. The stairways were full of pizza boxes and beer bottles though it was easy to avoid those. The jacuzzi tub was so nice but bf had to pull a wad of hair out of the drain first. Fridge didn’t have freezer but that was okay too. Room was cold and comfortable. You have to ask for room service on extended stays which was fun but we didn’t and ended up with a lot of trash. 「Shan at the front desk was wonderful, friendly, hopeful with a marvelous attitude and a great sense of humor. Overall establishment needs updating. Room was perfect.」

「It was an enjoyable stay. Waking up to the oceanfront view was a dream! The staff was very nice and steps away from the beach. It’s nice to park the car and not have to worry because you can walk everywhere. Overall a great stay and very enjoyable! 」

「As advertised. You get exactly what you see on the advertisement/posting. If you ask for ocean view you get ocean view. You ask for two queen beds that’s what you get. what I really liked about this particular hotel is the front desk. Very courteous. They Always pick up the phone . They answer your questions honestly. Whether you go into the front office or call them, they always respond- which I found very refreshing. I had a tough situation and they helped me and I am grateful.」
