We had a reservation for two nights before heading to the Redwoods. We had a reservation for someplace near the airport the night before leaving CA, but ended up staying an extra night at this hotel because it felt so good to be there. "Very nice hotel. Overall exceed our expectations, especially their breakfast! Crab scramble, blueberry pancake, breakfast plates are all AMAZING! Staffs are great and helpful. Room is fine nothing special. The heater is a bit too loud but bearable. Will definitely come back again! Missing the breakfast already!"

"I loved my stay at The Hotel Shattuck. My room was very pleasant and comfortable. The hotel decor is beautiful and It has a good vibe. I was really impressed with the quality of the food as well. I would stay here again. The only downside is there is very little street parking and you have to park in the parking garage across the street at $46 per night. "

The main lobby doors to lock and close at night so the only way to reenter is the car drop off/pick up and security asks to check your room card which I appreciated. "Very welcoming entry area, room was very clean and the space was very efficiently organized so that even as a small room, it had a full bathroom with tub and shower, including a separate sink/mirror plus another separate area with counter and mirror, with a tiny pod coffee maker. "We stayed in on of the rooms that was not on busy Lombard Street. It was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and in good repair, though outdated. The front desk person was friendly. There was plenty of parking and the neighborhood was safe. We enjoyed having breakfast across the street at Mel's Drive-in. There were lots of other restaurants nearby."
