"We absolutely loved staying at this hotel. My husband and I got married in Cape Town while we stayed here and we loved all the conveniences. It’s in the waterfront district so you can easily walk to all the shops and dining and it’s super safe. We had no problems walking on our own at night and felt completely safe- that was a big deal for us as most places are not like that. Beautiful rooms and great food. We loved our stay here- no complaints at all. "

We had an amazing time in Cape Town, there is so much to do. Use Uber to get around as some places are not safe to walk around. We were able to walk locally near the hotel and walk down to the V&A. Its a beautiful city. Everyone we met were lovely

I've been around the world and Cape Town is one of the best places I've ever been to . It's so much to do and the vibe around the city is amazing. Great people and great food. Everyone should experience Cape Town at least once in their life

Cape Town is not a safe place to be on foot after dark, but it was fine for a solo female during the day. I did several of the tours offered by the red hop on hop off bus company, and stuck close to the V and A Waterfront restaurants at night.

Have been coming to Cape Town each year to get away from the British weather in Jan/Feb. Love Cape Town as it is such a beautiful city with Table Mountain as its backdrop . Great shopping and many things to do . Buses safe locals friendly

Cape Town was beautiful. Especially the Chapman's peak drive on way back from cape of good hope followed by fish and chips at the fish on the rocks at hout bay. Aerial cable car to table mountain is a must, even better if you can climb.

So much to do by basing your vacation out of Cape Town. Tours to see the penguins and seals. Side trip to the wineries in Franshchoek and Stellenbosch. Food there is incredible. People and service is always top-notch.

Recommend hike up Table Mountain - safe , lots of people doing it! Visit Kirtenbosch gardens, V and A Waterfront and must go to Mojo Market - so fun!!!! For all ages! Also loved the Sunday market.

Cape Town is an amazing place. The views are spectacular and there is a lot to do. However, the crime rate is high and tourists always have to be aware of their surroundings and safety.

"Stayed for 3 nights in June 2025 prior to a group tour. The hotel is great and all of the staff members were lovely and kind! The only negative about this hotel is that it is essentially at the end of a dead end road (there is a security fence surrounding the hotel), so you have to follow the road back out to the main street to go anywhere. That being said, we walked around quite a bit, even at night, and found the area very safe. "
