"An interesting mix of comfortable, quaint, shabby chic and just plain shabby makes this cottage challenging to review! Overall, I was disappointed and felt that getting a few minor repairs done and providing better quality towels and bed linen would have made all the difference. On the plus side, it’s in a pretty village very near to the National Trust property of Oxborough Hall and has plenty of space for a couple or a small family, including a small garden. I stayed in March during a cold...

"Rather damp smell in main bedroom, small amount of black mould in the shower. Cooker not very clean but kitchen generally well-equipped (although only one teaspoon). Lounge comfortable and spacious. Poor signage on campsite especially for exit - if you arrive outside reception times, you won't get a map (we arrived after dark and left early the next morning). Very convenient for RSPB Snettisham. "I would say the property was perfect. It’s not a brand new spanking house it’s used but clearly loved. It’s clean and most importantly has almost everything you can think off which I absolutely appreciated. The house gave you a warm welcome and everything was comfortable. The dog loved it as well and settled in pretty quickly. For us was a great house and a good location that allowed us to move around easily "

"Great room that accommodated us brilliantly with lovely full English breakfasts or variations every morning. The staff, especially Sue, were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Parking was easy and the pub served proper pub food - delicious and very well priced. All in all was very good value for money. Would definitely use again if in the area. Only slight points to note are that the WiFi in the room was very patchy but fine if in the pub and our upstairs room was a bath only but these were just minor inconveniences in the whole experience."
