「Excellent staff needs a serious overhaul very dated」

「Expectations exceeded reality. Initially the astetics of arriving at the pub/hotel looked promising and the ambiance of the bar area pleasent with polite reception staff.The room (4) was at first site ok, but a more detailed look revealed a more dirty aspect and not as expected. The windows slatted blind very dusty, corner of the bathroom by the door, grime. Black mold in the shower around the metal shelf, the shower head holder broken and loosy fitted the drooping shower head. Under the bed...

「We upgraded for a spa suite and were not disappointed! It included a lovely sitting area, big bathroom with shower & bath and a very comfortable bed. As well as straight access into the spa area. The lady on reception was very helpful when we checked in. The room was modern, clean and really spacious. There is also a mini fridge and bits for tea, coffee & hot chocolate and bonus cookies which were a lovely extra. The spa was very busy when we stayed but we still managed to try all the areas...

「Wells next the sea is, as always, simply stunning and unique. The Globe Hotel is well situated in a leafy area of Wells. The room was okay, if a little tired, decor wise ie: paintwork needed touching up, but was clean and well stocked with beverages both hot and cold. The bed was a tad uncomfortable for sleeping, it felt like a well used mattress. On the whole the staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was well presented with a good choice of hot dishes along with continental food.」

「Nice place, good food, breakfast only from 08:30 so not brilliant for business travellers - I did get a breakfast box of pastries (though I'd ordered a bacon butty), which were OK and filled a hole! My dog was made very welcome, but had to be carried up the steps to the rooms only having little paws and not fancying the grated steps. The lovely lady at the very quiet mid-week bar was really helpful in indicating an excellent local walk - thankyou! Good location, just shy of any work in Norfolk -...

「Staff very friendly- need uniforms and badges - would look more professional. Overall we had a good stay - property needs cosmetic overhaul and new furniture. Breakfast was very good - Plenty of parking . Rooms are adequate. Thanks」

「Room was great, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Lovely quality toiletries and excellent to have a coffee machine. Parking was close to the room, and it was really helpful to have the little verandah overhang as it was running as we left! Only issue was lack of signage from the main road」
