「Stayed here with my girlfriend. We loved the resort. The private pool room is definitely worth it. The main pool is a little small. The beach was just okay bc of seaweed which they cleaned up a lot. One thing that was frustrating, when you walk in after checking in you will get approached by the people trying to sell excursions. They are like vultures. Everytime we went through the main area during the day they attacked us. They will also lie to you about the excursions so be careful. We did...

「Overall the property is nice. The entertainment is mid grade. The spa was great. Food was decent. Hotel does have a slight mop water smell in the hallway of the rooms lobby smells great, our wash cloths weren’t replaced until the final day and the shower drained needed cleaning. If the shower ran too long it over flowed into the bathroom area. I love the flip flops and beach bags they give you. Overall not terrible for the price but wouldn’t stay here again.」

「The property was very historic but we had room issues and the initial room we were given was not what we paid for. The Manager on duty finally had to upgrade us to a suite to get us the right view that we booked but after 12 hours of traveling from CA it was exhausting arguing to end up where we should have been given as soon as they knew they didn’t have my room type available. 」

HOWEVER - Their transportation department "GO MAJESTIC" lacks the same attention to customer based services. Upon being picked up, I was forced to pay someone $30 for beers no one asked for and noone drank.
