Excellence Punta Cana lives up to its name. The resort is clean, beautiful and quiet. Overall a peaceful experience. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. You can’t walk near anyone without a Hola greeting! Makes your day. Jacobs was amazing. Always there to assist you with a smile and help you without making you feel Like a burden. The cabanas were my favorite part. My husband and I laid out there all day long. The food was a 7/10. They also have a doctor and pharmacy on site! 10/10! We will be back

Very clean and well manicured areas, however pool area was small and in need of updates, not enough floating devices and area could get filled quickly. Main buffet area look very appealing but most foods were cold with not much taste.Swim up bar was under staffed and not very friendly.Room was spacious and clean but with awkward shower and toilet layout.Seems alcoholic drinks were not very potent.Our week there saw heavy rain 31/2 days of the week.Massage area was very good and relaxing. Room service good

We have been to the DR over 20 times (always 5 star) and have been to this particular resort over 10 times. We've tried other newer places but keep coming back because we find that even though it's one of the older resorts, it is absolutely the most charming. We will return next year again because of the great staff, food, drinks, entertainment and especially the beautiful beach.
