very nice property and friendly staff, great for a small getaway

I traveled here with my husband and 10 month old daughter. This was an amazing family friendly resort, they provided a crib and high chair in our room. The food was amazing, and the service was great. Our only complaint was that we booked the all inclusive package, but after every drink, and every meal, we were asked to sign a tab, where the staff would ask for a tip and automatically have the machine at 20%. If you didn’t tip, they remembered for the next time. The point of an all inclusive trip is to not have to sign for every drink / meal you get and you shouldn’t be expected to tip on every single order - we already paid. Additionally, the 20% was 20% of what it would have cost if we weren’t all inclusive, as you can imagine that 20% adds up extremely fast. I like to tip in cash, and we are good tippers - but it was off putting and awkward being asked to tip after every single drink and meal - I have never been to a resort like this. It also made us not want to to go to certain restaurants and bars because those staff members made it awkward if we didn’t tip 20% like it was expected - when we already paid the all inclusive fee. If this were to be fixed, this would have been the perfect resort!

The hotel was excellent, rooms are spacious and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was excellent, large variety of meals.

The property is beautiful. The staff amazing. Food was delicious. Our issues with this stay were all our room. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. Hard as a rock! If you have a bad back like I do, be warned. Our room fridge was never stocked the whole week we were there and when we tried to order items by room service, they never showed up. We travel to Mexico so twice a year. All though this was a nice trip, this particular resort will not make the repeat visit list.

Excellent service, friendly staff and amazing food and amenities

Truly an enjoyable stay and trip! The staff were wonderful, kind, and very accommodating. The food was pretty good, although we loved the Italian and Mexican restaurants by the pool the best. Thank you for making our trip away so relaxing and enjoyable!

We apparently traveled to Cancun wrong time of year. There was so much seaweed. There was no use of the beach. No swimming was allowed. The pools are fantastic. The staff was great. The food was amazing. Just sad. We couldn’t use the beach.

This property would receive a 5 star rating, if they stopped pestering families to take the tour and sell products as people leave the resort. We stayed at The Grand, which let us visit all three resorts which we loved. Be AWARE, the prices at the gift shops are drastically overpriced but convienent if you run out of sun screen.
