Southern Suburbs Kid friendly Vacations

The Gateway was wonderful, and this is the second time I’ve used it. I’m in a wheelchair and use the disability friendly room. It is 20 minutes into Melbourne half an hour away from the puffin Billy in Dandenongs and one hour away from the Yarra Valley. The room was serviced daily and bottled water was supplied. The manager was very helpful. I recommend this Hotel very highly and will be back. Continental breakfast was supplied daily. It certainly is a boutique hotel with lovely finishings.

Older room, heating was good. Fine for a one night stay only.

Great apartment with everything we needed for a short stay. May need to be aware it is close to the train line, but that wasn’t an issue for us and it made travel into the city a breeze. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Would happily stay there again.

Communication prior to arrival and during was polite and friendly. We were met upon arrival and were escorted to the apartment. In the kitchen was coffee, tea & chocolate. The apartment was clean, neat, well appointed. In the bathrooms were shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser, soap, toothbrush, etc. It’s close to shops and restaurants, plus a short walk to the train station. It is secure and quiet. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely return.
