I love the old fashioned Miami glam of this resort. The color scheme is great, the lobby has been renovated, and the pool is such a relaxing environment. Clean rooms, all the amenities, and the front desk staff was amazing. We had a refreshing stay!

Nice very large resort, well suited for conferences. The pool is nice. It would be nice if they had an adult only Jacuzzi. I give it 3 stars as I just do not see the bang for the buck. Example: 2 drinks poolside $67. Prices are out of control and as bad as Vegas. The rooms are okay but nothing extravagant.

Enjoyed everything about this hotel! Specifically, the location, lobby, staff, room and amenities. The complimentary breakfast was really good, as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again in the future.

We go to Diplomat for the beautiful pool/beach area, the grand lobby, and cool vibe. The rooms are getting a bit dated....bedspreads, carpeting, furniture, could use a refresh soon for a premium place like this. Still it's a great spot for our family for a weekend visit to play.

Meh. The room was nicely renovated. Bathroom nice. Suite was a bit disjointed in that the balcony is in the bedroom, the living room is a weird uncomfortable couch facing a large TV. Balcony ocean view was worth it. The pools and gym were ok. Need many more plants. Great beach and beach service. Despite housekeeping planting out in the hallways at all times we had issues getting room cleaned. Location fairly busy right next to the causeway.
