St. George Island Cheap Vacations

This hotel is a hidden gem!! It is updated and has a great vibe. Every staff member we met was fabulous!!! Would give six stars if I could. In addition to the cool factor of this hotel, its amenities were impeccable and the location with available food and bar options in the neighborhood convinced me that I found my go to for my DC visits now. Job well done Darcy!!!!

Absolutely LOVED the stay!! Johnny was amazing forgot her name but the head of house keeping was amazing!! Best New Years yet!! Planning on coming back for a staycation with the wife where we can just unplug and relax. Just an overall amazing experience.

Hotel Monaco was perfect for an overnight stay celebrating a milestone birthday with family in D.C. We took in dinner and a show, both within walking distance of the hotel. The holiday market right outside the front door made for a picturesque backdrop for our celebratory stay. Keilon and the rest of the staff met all expectations including flowers awaiting the guest of honor upon her arrival to her room. Thank you for a wonderful, memorable stay. We will be back!

Great location and a really comfy bed!!

I’ve never stayed at a 5 star hotel that charged you for shampoo, soap, or body wash. Considering the price of the hotel I would never expect to see a notice saying we would be charged for taking shampoo. It gives the impression that the hotel is nickel and diming guests. In addition, the idea of reusing stuff from other guests is also gross. The hotel also didn’t provide toothbrushes, combs, or basic toiletries that other 5 star hotels provide. Lastly to add onto the nickle and diming, never in my life have a stayed at a 5 star hotel that charges for sauna and steam room use. Either include that service in the base price or put a notice saying that a charge is required.

The curtains in the room are split in four sections and have gaps between sections when closed. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. There seems to be no complimentary bottled water provided.
