The room itself was great but it’s located directly above a large compressor that was so loud you could not sit outside on the balcony nor even open the large sliding doors. And it makes a weird whirring sound

Was informed a day prior to check in that we would be without water midweek from 10am-6pm. Water did not return until after 8pm which is unacceptable after a day in the desert red rock sand. I spoke to the Director of guest relations and was informed that my family could use the porta potties since we could not flush our toilets, She was less than professional and all she could say was "I understand" The room was just OK, furniture and restrooms were very dated. construction every day all day like clockwork. Fresh towels would not be provided until after your 5th night stay or available for a charge. You must empty you own trash or be charged extra which is part of a 2 page " rules and regulations" containing all of the pending additional charges if not followed. I would ensure to request a copy of this and read it top to bottom prior to even thinking about staying.

Everything about this resort was top notch! The staff, the location, the Spa, the restaurant! We loved everything about The Amara! Can’t say enough good things!

Amazing views and comfortable suites. A comfortable landing spot after a day of hiking.

We enjoyed our stay. The property is nice and close to everything . Unfortunately the staff at the restaurant lied to us which ended our anniversary stay on a sour note. After reading that creekside dining is not always available depending on the season we called to make sure we would sit creekside when booking our anniversary breakfast . The person booking our reservation over the phone assured us we would be able to sit creekside. Unfortunately when we arrived for our reservation we were told they were not seating creekside. Something we were truly looking forward to. We canceled our reservation and left the property disappointed . Not a great way to end our anniversary trip.

We liked that it was a condo and not just a hotel room. Was quiet and clean and had a hot tub right out the back door. Only problem was there was a water main being worked on and the water was turned off one morning and we could not take showers. Was out for a couple of hours at least but the property did text an approximate time for it to be turned back on. Good location in town as well.
