Miyajima All inclusive Vacations

Our overall experience was ok. The hotel seemed understaffed at breakfast although the girl who showed us to our table every morning was lovely and was working very hard as well as the man trying to refill breakfast items as quickly as he could. You need to wait to be seated for breakfast which could be up to 15 (our experience) minutes as the breakfast hall is small for the number of guests. The breakfast was ok, our room was small especially the bathroom. Two lifts for the amount of guests didn’t seem enough and you have to wait some time for it. Location wise it is good. Close to shops, station and the Peqce memorial park. It is fine for a brief stay but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a long trip.

Great location to a lot of areas of Hiroshima. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and good breakfast option.

This was by far the nicest room/resort we have stayed in. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station depending on the room you're staying in given you contact them at least three days in advance. Although our Shinkansen was unexpectedly delayed by two hours due to rain/lightning, they patiently waited for our arrival and did not leave us stranded. Perhaps the only downside was that we only stayed two nights as I felt we could've done with some more downtime and taking advantage of the amenities including the bikes and SUPs. I hope to return again soon, staying for a longer time next time. Thank you Marissa Resort for giving us an incredible and memorable vacation!

Wonderful stay

We stayed at the Azumi for one night. After a dreary day of cycling, we were looking forward to some pampering. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was gorgeous - large and serene with nice appointments like a shoe dryer for wet days (genius!). The food at the on-site restaurant is very good.
