We loved the experience of slippers on arrival, yukata robe for dinner, futons transforming our tatami room to a bedroom, traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. It is an older hotel, but well worth the money. I recommend staying two nights so you can enjoy the island and not be rushed to do everything in a single day."
"This place was amazing - pretty much a fabulous sushimi restaurant with a guesthouse on top. We (family of 5) had the run of the place and were treated to exceptional dinners and breakfast everyday.
The owner even took us out one night with kitchen leftovers so the kids could feed the local deer.

"I had 4 hotels In Japan during my vocation. I paid ¥4600.00 for 2 person luxury hotel breakfast but not was good like Hiroshima Washington Hotel. And staff was helpful.
But my room windows was looking to Parkin lot wall and outside was little noisy.
Couple dust wool flying in the room may be coming from AC. "
"Mitsui Garden doesn't dissapoint. While this particular hotel was not as grand as the one in Taiwan where I stayed previously, the brand is something that I will always consider. I like the idea that there's a guest lounge where you can relax outside of the room. Light snack is offered but don't expect much. Breakfast is sufficient .Overall, it was a comfortable accomodation.
