Miyajima Golf Vacations

Very clean and felt new. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. We were traveling with our teenager and booked the “standard twin” which was a little tight so I’d recommend going with the next room up. (It would probably be ok for a small child). Loved the spa though it would be nice if they provided an extra towel. Super comfy pjs though!

Great place to stay

This was by far the nicest room/resort we have stayed in. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station depending on the room you're staying in given you contact them at least three days in advance. Although our Shinkansen was unexpectedly delayed by two hours due to rain/lightning, they patiently waited for our arrival and did not leave us stranded. Perhaps the only downside was that we only stayed two nights as I felt we could've done with some more downtime and taking advantage of the amenities including the bikes and SUPs. I hope to return again soon, staying for a longer time next time. Thank you Marissa Resort for giving us an incredible and memorable vacation!

A clean and good size room We were offered at 26 floors so we can oversee the neighborhood including the Hiroshima Castle and mountains. The scene is pretty. Its location is wonderful so it’s easy to go to most attractions including A bomb Dome, the Castle , memorial museum, Sogo department store, restaurants and prime shopping areas. Taxi to the hotel from train station takes just 1500 yen. We even didn’t have to use any transportation during the two days visit The receptionists are friendly and helpful The only downside: Gym is not included in stay

Very well located hotel, easy to walk to the peace museum and the pedestrianised shopping area with a tram stop at the end of the road to get to Miyajima and other places. Less than 100m from Okonomimura, less than 50m from the most overwhelming Don Quijote I've ever been in. Room was quite small but still comfortable and with a good size bathroom (bathroom including shower/bath was probably half the room) - not super modern but still very nice and with every feature we could need really. Good view from the upper floors!

Great place to stay

The location was great but the parking was full. We got directed to the D parking lot just across the road. It turned out to be cheaper and really close. The rooms were clean but smaller beds than usual. We would still recommend this accommodation. Value for money.

Amazing hotel. Categorized as 3-star but lives up to 5-star reputation. Brand new. Elegant Japanese design. Big rooms. Comfortable beds. Excellent service. Just across from the ferry port that takes you to Miyajima island. Might be a bit far from central Hiroshima, but its advantages outweigh this single disadvantage. Very much recommend!
